What is Soul Mentoring?Soul Mentoring is a conversation.
It is a way of deeply listening to your own inner wisdom in the presence of another human being. Together, we unpack the challenges and celebrate the nuances of daily life. Living a life of Soul means living deeply, intuitively and with passion. How we get there is different for each person. Exploring a renewed vision of yourself through understanding the stories you live by, deepened by ancestral histories, and by tending to your dreams. Together we creatively integrate a grounded, skillful sense of yourself and help you to create practices that nourish and sustain you. My intention in this work is that you have a meaningful connection to yourself and a sense of being at home in your life, where you feel strong, resilient and capable of meeting life's many challenges with confidence.

Soul Mentoring is about answering the longing to come into a deeper, more real relationship with yourself. Sometimes that call comes through dreams, visions or when something big changes us, like our health, our relationships or our work in the world. Sometimes it means we must step away from all we ever thought about ourselves or about life and move deeper into the forest and away from the familiar.

Having a companion on the journey can be very comforting.
Your Soul is calling. Will you answer?

About Angela
I bring over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health and wellness to our work. My deep listening skills and compassionate perspective has been honed over that time as a psychotherapist, a contemplative coach, a somatic/body worker, an animal behavior biologist, a facilitator in the tending of dreams for groups and individuals, as a sacred ceremonial ritualist and as an Ancestral Lineage Repair Practitioner.
Though I have chosen professions largely in health and wellness, my studies to try and understand what healing is and how it works has been a life-long focus of my personal journey as well. I have always been deeply interested in connecting with the divine, being in relationship with the natural world, experiencing non-ordinary states of consciousness and was driven by a curiosity about the mystery of what it means to be alive as a human being. Other than my professional trainings, I bring to our time together many experiences of the nature of mind in meditation retreats, listening to the wisdom of my dreams, learning what the body has to teach, facing my own death, leaning into my fears to find my courage and discovering the things that sustain and inspire my life, like growing food, making music, art and craft, companioning with animals and plants, and connecting with my well and wise ancestors.

"People say what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think that what we're really seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive in our bodies."
~ Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth~
"Being really uncomfortable is like the secret ingredient to having something really beautiful unfolding in your life. It is a sign that you are growing and evolving and learning something new about yourself. If I ask myself " Am I uncomfortable right now?" and if the answer is, "Yes, I certainly do feel uncomfortable!", then I say, "Good job! Keep Going. You will thank yourself later.""
